Cordless drills were created and designed to simplify drilling and save time on construction and "do it yourself" projects.
The word drill (from Dutch: drillen) or drill motor is a tool fitted with a rotating cutting tool, usually a drill bit,
used for drilling holes in various materials. The cutting tool is gripped by a chuck at the one end of all cordless drills
and it rotates when pressed against the target material. The tip of all cordless drills does the work of cutting into the
desired material. This may be slicing off thin shavings (twist drills or auger bits), grinding off small particles (oil drilling),
crushing and removing pieces of the workpiece or other operations. Cordless drills are very convenient and they make many jobs,
projects and other tasks easier.
